On the structure & content of this site.

  • Under /general you will find my notes on anything and everything.
    • With more than 2k notes in my vault, they may sometimes get out of date. They are of course never “complete” or “finished”, but more of a live insight into my learning progress. Oftentimes this takes the form of stream-of-consciousness writing, just getting the idea into my persistent second brain, to free the creative mind from needing to keep hold of everything in active memory.
    • Not everything written here necessarily represents my current takes. While I try to keep new notes in a good state, with the most important info tending to be at the top of the note (or telling a story) (easier ever since I make heavier use of callouts), old notes often just grow. But a nice side-effect is the evolution of my ideas being documented (beyond git-history). You’ll notice if a note is older – the most important/up to date info won’t necessarily be at the top or in the middle.
    • That gives me an idea 💡: I’ll implement a git blame style feature that shows the last edit date of each line soon.
