It is shown for some CA rules, that you cannot obtain an analytical expression that tells you the state of the system after n steps. The only way you can know that state is to actually run that computation.
It’s not possible to short-circuit the computation a complex system is doing by world models or any other means. You have to run the computation, due to small errors quickly amplyfying.
